Timeless Beauty
© Pendaran Glamorgan (Brian Martin)
Though blest with beauty in the flush of youth,
Your splendor grows with ev'ry passing day.
These words may seem a simple boast, but truth
They are, thus I am never led astray.
And with the bloom of motherhood have you
Grown fairer still, though I would not have thought
It possible, it none the less is true,
And thus my heart have you kept firmly caught.
And so it goes, the time rolls by, the wine
Improves with age and tis the same with thee:
Thy beauty shall not know the cost of time;
But always young and lovely shalt thou be.
For beauty thus lies in the viewer's eyes,
And in mine eye thy beauty never dies.
