I Have No Need For Chasing Dreams

©Darius of the Bells (Don Riney)

I have no need for chasing dreams
For wandering through the morning mist
I have no need to follow moonbeams
Or to think that fairies might exist

I do not need to seek my fortune
Seeking fame in far off lands
I do not need to make girls swoon
With pretty words and soft laid hands

I have no wish to be a knight
Saving towns from dragons fire
I have no wish to gain such height
That I can not see what first inspired

I have no need to chase a dream
Or such flights of fancy they invite
I have no need to chase a dream
When I hold mine in my arms at night

She is my fortune, fame and song
She is my faith, my heart, my life
She is the one to who I belong
She is my dream, my light, my wife.
