A sonnet For Rosalia

©Darius of the Bells (Don Riney)

As Sparrows on the wing do fly
O'er clouds of blessed Avalon
So is the lovers' wistful sigh
To see his lady's face anon
To hear her voice like mornings song
He waits impatient like the hound
To touch her hand, to her, belong
He bears his heart, His love expound
Now to his one he calls aloud
I would give the sky unto thy name
Every rainbow and all the clouds
That all may know thy beauties fame
As love now is my hearts decree
And so I give My heart to thee
